 Founder M.F. Chapman wanted to work and spend time with her daughter.
She couldn’t find childcare for limited hours that was both affordable and flexible to the changing needs of her work. Additionally, her new role of freelance worker isolated her from the general business community. Cubes&Crayons is the solution to this problem. Our centers provide engaging learning for young children while creating a sense of community and network for the parents who use our services.

Kati: Kati, our fabulous child development director, brings over fifteen years of childcare experience to the Cubes&Crayons team. She has worked in a preschool and summer camp program for five years and as a nanny with extensive infant experience for ten years. She has a degree in Early Childhood Education with a minor in Special Education. She believes in a positive atmosphere with fun and educational activities!
Childcare staff member Inna Tkachuk graduated from San Jose State with a Child and Adolescent Development bachelor's degree. Since graduation, Inna has worked as a preschool teacher and particularly likes our blend of childcare with onsite office space. Inna speaks four languages, is CPR certified, and volunteers for her church's nursery. She so enjoys spending time with her husband, Paul, that they've been building a home together, in their "spare time."
